Day Two

Describe covalent and ionic bonding?
Covelent bonding is the sharing of pairs of electrons between atoms, and the bonds are "attracted" to one another
Ionic bonding is a bond formed between two that are "oposite" one another and bond through electrostatic attraction.

What is eletronegativity?
It is a number/perecent  that predicts how likeley the atom will attract others atoms to itself. The higher the electronegatviy number, the more likeley there will be atoms attracted to it.

List the electronegativity vales for H, Na, Cl and O.
H: 2.1
Na: 0.93
Cl: 3.16
O: 3.44
